But there are several other small but very important things that go unnoticed. Usually, none of your efficient virtual consultants will tell you about all this. They [...]

Uploading a proxy site (PHP Proxy Script)

Now the installation this is the process which differs for each proxy script, firstly I shall show you how to install a phproxy script.

Firstly we want to download an open source FTP client, you do not have to use this and most web hosting services come with there own built in FTP with in the control panel take for example godaddy. However I find it much easier to double click on your desktop to open your own FTP software.

I use FileZilla however I am sure there are others, I recommend you download this. You can do that here:

http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client

In most cases you will want to download from the first link. After you have downloaded and followed the installation instructions you can open up FileZilla it shall look something like this:

Now again the image has been numbered to show you step by step which bit is for what, I know at first it can be confusing.

1.This is where you will want to enter your own information from your web host for your website. Firstly in “host” you will want to add either an ip address or the URL of the website. Secondly you will have your user name this is the name that you have made your websites account with on your web host. Third we have the password, again this is the password you use to get on your hosting account. The port will most probably be 21, however sometimes you do not even need a port number.

2.This shows filezilla’s connection log, it will basically show you when filezilla is connecting and when it has been disconnected.

3.This shows you a view of your own files that are on your hard drive. You can use this to get from one place to another instead of having to move file from file.

4.This shows the files you have selected, this will show inside the file that you want to upload. Most presumably it will show the index.inx.php file, config.php file, index.php fil, images file, and a style file. You also sometimes have topsites.php file, cookies file, js file, uploads file depending on which script you use.

5.This shows your websites directory. This is where you will be wanting to drag your files to. You will want to look out for a file here that is named “www” when you find that double click on and open it. Then you will be presented with an empty file. You now want to drag all of the files I just named above in to this file. They should now start uploading.

6.This shows the current files queuing to be uploaded and what has already been uploaded. It also shows files that were unable to be uploaded.

Now thats all there is to it, for uploading a phpscript. I told you it was easy, you can now go on to Mozilla or Internet explorer and type in your websites address it should load straight up and your brand new proxy site should be waiting to earn you lots of money.

If your website does not load up, common problems are that firstly you have not changed the nameservers on your domain. If you use Godaddy you can log on to your account go to my domains>click on your domain> then in the domain its self you will see it should say nameservers>double click on them and click custom nameservers>Now enter the nameservers your web host provided you with.

For example ns1.hostinglimo.com ns2.hostinglimo.com

You should need to enter two name servers here they are both the same however one is number 1 and one number 2. You may have more than two boxes don’t worry you do not need to fill the rest in.

Other mistakes are that you have uploaded the files to the wrong directory.
