Another reason why keyword research is a necessity, for the past few months now I have come across several different keywords which according to this keyword tool were averaging extremely high daily traffic results.
An example of this would be
“michigan seo business driven technology”
Which according to this keyword tool on average receives 1,111 daily searches, now this may not sound too extreme however when you compare it to the keyword “seo” which receives 2,238 daily searches it is almost half of this and receives more searches than the term “seo tools” and “seo software”.
For a keyword so long and specific to a certain location it stuns me to believe this can be correct. So I feel it is within my duty and interest to investigate further as to why this result and several other results according to that keyword tool receive so many daily searches.
The ways in which I plan to do this are:
Rank in the top ten for
- “michigan seo business driven technology”
“michigan seo solutions”
“michigan seo target marketing”
“michigan seo expert”
By doing this I can calculate through the traffic I receive what the general daily amount of traffic should be for these keywords. The amount of traffic will not the be the exact same as the daily amount of searches but it will be close.
I will take the daily traffic received for each keyword and calculate according to the search engine position and theory behind the amount of traffic the top ten search engine positions should receive to give me a daily average number of searches.
I shall report back in a couple of days when I should be ranked for these terms.
