To the owner of this proxy site, I am only reviewing one proxy per person so I decided to pick the first proxy site out of the list I received.
The first thing that becomes apparent to me about this proxy site is that the domain name has no relevancy with proxy sites at all (unless its in another language). Now I am not saying that this is a negative point as some would argue that it would be more effective in the long term approach against ensuring your proxy site isn’t blocked straight away. However from my own personal view I do prefer the domain name to have some relevancy with proxy sites so that users do realise that it is a proxy site. Another reason for me thinking this is because I also believe in search engine optimization for proxy sites so therefore having a proxy domain with a keyword that you are targeting would be more effective than having a random domain name.
Overall though whether you are planning on using SEO or not, by not using a proxy related domain name does not mean that you cannot rank high for proxy keywords. It just means it may be a little harder and may take more time to get on the first page.
The second thing I noticed about the proxy site is that when loaded the overall aesthetical feel of the proxy site is very dull and bland. Now aesthetics isn’t the most important feature of a proxy site, more likely that ensuring the proxy site has a proxy search bar would be more important however I do like to see a bit of colour on the proxy site which is usually taken up by adverts. But where are they? I am not to sure how you have monetized this proxy site or if you have at all. Because I cannot see any form of monetization which seems a major problem if you are planning on using the proxy site to profit from.
I would consider changing the glype theme design perhaps go for one that I currently have free to download on this site. You need a theme with advert placement which this one has none of, as well as that it may be a good idea to add some content to the proxy site. Explain what a proxy site is, how to use one stuff like that.
Step by step changes that need to be made.
1. Change the proxy theme I suggest using one of the ones you can download here. By changing the theme to something a little bit more attractive with some adverts placed on the proxy and a little bit of text. It will ensure that you earn at least a little bit of money from the proxy site and also make the proxy look more professional, which when you come to selling the site is a must have.
2. If you plan on monetizing the website I would suggest trying out Google adsense first and using Adbrite for the proxified pages of the proxy site. With glype themes adding adverts to the proxified pages is quite simple.
3. If you’re planning on using SEO on your proxy site I would suggest doing a little bit of keyword research to find some highly searched keywords which won’t be hard to compete for. This can be done with Wordtracker or Keyword elite there are other various software and tools you can use. I recommend you read my article on the Top 3 paid keyword research tools. It seems that you may be targeting free anonymous proxy as it is in your title tag if so ensure it’s include in your meta tags too. Also I would write a couple of paragraphs with the keyword in to.
4. As it seems you have a network of proxy sites why not link them up together, add a couple of html links with anchor text to your other proxy sites so that people can move around your proxy sites instead of coming of one and going on someone else’s.
Overall I think with a change of theme and some editing and added text you could make this proxy site look really good. As well as this it gives you a chance to SEO the proxy site so that you can ensure you have long term daily traffic which is both stable and reliable.
