How to create an eBook
Posted by Will Blears on October 10, 2008 in Google ArticlesThis is one of many key ways in which you can put your own knowledge and experience in to practice, a way of profiting from your knowledge and a way of monetizing your website.
Anything can be produced and titled as an eBook whether this be a one page explanation on ‘How to use the internet?’ to a fully developed 45 page eBook in to ‘Stock Marketing, how to become a pro’? There really is no limit to what you write when it comes to producing an eBook, and writing your own content gives you the rights to distribute the content.
The first thing to do when your planning on producing your own eBook is research the subject in which you plan on writing it, decide on how many pages you would like the eBook to be and if it will have images, where you shall get the images from.
When you have built your eBook in either, Microsoft word, Publisher, access what ever it may be, it would be a good idea to make sure you have adobe acrobat which will then create your eBook into a PDF (Portable Document File), this enables you to easily distribute your eBook over the internet.
There are other ways you can create an eBook by using specifically built software which compiles your eBook. You can find these eBook compilers for on the internet, and you can download them for free. There are two eBook compilers that I would choose from; if you’re on a tight budget I would go for SBookBuilder. However if you would rather create a brandable eBook or eBooks I would use this software package, which is great eBookEditPro.
There are many ways in which you can market, advertise and distribute your eBook either selling it from your own developed website which has solely been created to sell eBooks or you could just sell your eBook on eBay. You can even get others to sell your website for you, advertise it on another person’s website and perhaps come to a deal where you may give them ma percentage of the overall sale price.
In conclusion, if you are trying to find a great way to monetize your site, or if you get bored when your sat at home dragging your mouse across your screensaver making that white lined box when you hold down the left click button, why not put your time to use. You don’t have to produce and develop your own website; you don’t need to know a single amount of Html Xhtml or any other coding language, its easy and simple.
