Google’s SEO Starter Guide
At Google’s own official webmaster central blog they have decided to create a condensed eBook/guide which reflects questions that are commonly directed towards Google including improving title and description meta tags, URL structure, site navigation, content creation, anchor text and much more.
The guide is called “Search engine optimization starter guide” and its displayed over 22 pages of text and print screens. The guide also highlights pitfalls that you should avoid when carrying out SEO and highlights these very succesfully.
Its well worth a read for anyone wanting to learn a little more about SEO and to be honest anyone who wants to rank on Google should take a read of Google’s own SEO eBook guide.

Through writing quality content you are increasing the chances of a reader sending that article to a friend, linking to the article from their blog, stumbling or using another form of social media, posting it on a forum and/or several other forms of link building.
The theory is that the better and more unique content that you write the higher the chances are that your content is picked up by more people through readers linking to the article.
This is what is meant by an artiocle being a link building power.
