Whether you’re developing an information website or selling a service content is a big issue for driving both traffic to your website, and also driving that pagerank and search page ranking up.
Sticking with an information website like this one, you want original keyword rich content both relevant to your website and the domain. You want the articles title to be eye catching interesting and keyword rich, you want the subheading to be the same however perhaps describing the article in a bit more detail. You don’t want to just add five or six new articles once every couple of months though, it is better to add one or two articles a week. Search engines love new and fresh content, and by submitting new and fresh content every week will most definitely enable your site to become a success.
When writing your content, you want to ensure the content is keyword rich, this basically means that you have relevant words that are key to your article everywhere, ok not everywhere as it can become over the top and search engines will not like that one bit. There is a general rule which says your keywords should make up for about 10% of your overall websites content.
You also want to make sure that your content is not boring, that it is engaging and eye catching, not the same all the way through, properly punctuated and that the importance of some text against another bit of text differs in font and size.
Make sure your websites content is not a duplicate from another website, search engines wont like you for this at all and it will effect your websites overall performance in the search engine rankings and the SEO.
Putting keywords in both your headings and in page titles is a great thing to make sure you do. These are both usually displayed in the tag on search engines.
If you make sure you submit content every week or so, and ensure that the content is not a duplicate and is keyword rich I promise you, your website will be successful much faster.
