Clickbank Journal: 14 days to make a sale
This is the first of many Clickbank Journals which will be added to the Affiliate marketing section of the blog. This first journal is going to be following myself over a fourteen day period where I will attempt to make just one clickbank sale on one product from one website.
Many people may think that this is not much of a challenge however I am not doing it for the challenge its the lessons that I am going to teach new players that have just joined the Affiliate marketing scene that makes this journal interesting. However this does not mean that this journal is only for beginners, although it might be aimed at beginners it also offers some pretty interesting techniques for experienced affiliate marketers and it shall make reference to some great affiliate marketing resources used by myself and many other affiliate marketers.
What will I do over this 14 day period?
- Register the domain, build the website, get the website live.
- Do the on-page optimisation and start link building.
- Promote the website on various websites using various techniques.
- Alter, experiment and test various strategies.
- Use Article marketing amongst many other marketing techniques to increase traffic and potential sales.
- Make the sale.
This journal will go from the beginning to the end and by the end I will have made the sale.
What market will I choose?
I will be choosing a market that you either hate or love, its a market that offers hundreds of potential sales alongside many refunds, a market that is very competitive amongst many experts however its a market with such potential that anyone can make a sale.
Have you guessed what it is yet?
Yes, the Forex market.
The reason I have chose the Forex market is because it is one which I have been able to profit from for the past several months and although it has its ups and downs it is a market which I think is relatively easy to make a couple of sales from.
You may be thinking, why have you picked a market which is hostile and full of industry experts. Well, because as I said earlier its a market which I believe is relatively easy to make a sale from and I want to show the beginners that it can be done.
In the future I will be testing out other markets and creating journals using other markets however for the first journal I will be using the hostile Forex market.
What I am predicting or aiming for over the next fourteen days?
Although I would love to concentrate on SEO I don’t think its a good idea to focus on a long term strategy when I only have 14 days to succeed. So instead I will be looking more at bum marketing and social media marketing.
One thing I would like to make clear is that I will not be using any paid marketing methods, scrap PPC and the rest.
I am aiming to create 10 articles which I will use for submitting to hundreds of different websites and also use them for creating web 2.0 sites.
I am aiming to submit 5-10 articles to Ezine articles and have them accepted by day 7 which would give me 7 more days to make a sale from this method alone.
Personally, I am hoping I make more than one sale however you never know with the Forex market its a very volatile market.
The Clickbank Journal will start on Sunday 26th July 2009.
To conclude
This is going to be a very interesting journal not only because its the first journal I have done but also because I have picked a market which can be very hostile, especially towards the affiliates.
Instead of writing the day entries and publishing them on my blog, instead I have created a Journal newsletter which I will be sending the day entries to for the next 14 days. The reason I have done this is because I only want to attract the attention of people interested in Affiliate marketing and interested in this Clickbank journal.
