Blogging Idol Week two

We have now passed the second week of blogging idol; this week has been very slow. I have missed a couple of days where I have not been able to post an article, which is definitely not like me however it was unavoidable.

This week’s strategies were simple and some were taken from other competitors in this competition. However I have noticed that to keep an RSS subscribers base increasing you have to post daily, this is not something you can do part time. People will only want to subscribe to your feed if they think it is amazing, quality and unique content or that they may miss an article.

This week’s strategies have been

• Emailing my proxy subscription members
• Blog Carnivals (good for traffic and backlinks)
• Blog Commenting (again good for traffic)
• Quality Content

This week has been slow and steady however next week will be when I push to hit 100 RSS subscribers.
